How to remove spiders from steam version?

I am an arachnophobe and I can’t play this wonderful game while there are spiders in it, please help

Here you go. For all the arachnophobes. Download this Spider Hider mod and extract the dbmods folder to your base Thief Gold directory to remove the spiders.

it's actually Usermods, and you need to be TFix patched for the mod to work.

Hey there, fellow arachnophobe here, if you wanna test if the mod is working or not there is a hidden place close to the beggining of the first level with a spider in it, it's easy to spot and you'l be in s safe environment (i don't think it will jump on you or anything, it won't even see you i think)
the place is a cavern in the sewers. Right after you steal the key and jump down there should be an area slightly more open than the corridor you fall into, in the floor there's a passage to another room with a single white spider in it.
I hope i'm not too late to be usefull, just wanted to give my 2 cents.

I feel with you! OMG fkn Spiders meh! I hope in this game they are not too big and creepy?!
I would prefer an encounter with the Great White Shark or a Wolf in a Nocturnal Forrest but when it comes to Arachnids or Insects:Hashtag ME TOO!!
