This kind of depends on where we are talking about.
In Apex Hunt, you will always have a raceline from the beginning as it is meant as a tutorial.
In Track Test and Competition, your own raceline will appear once you complete a valid lap.
In Leaderboard Challenge, if you are challenging someone elses laptime via the Leaderboards then you will see their ghost and their raceline. If you are starting a leaderboard challenge on your own without directly challenging someone, you will have a raceline once you complete a valid lap.
Hope this clears up the confusion.
Ah, that clears it up. Thank you, I was doing track test. New to the game, so I'm still getting used to the layout.
I thought it was a bug making a raceline appear all of a sudden.. . But I really don't like it, it messes with my concentration!!
If I want one I can race Apex hunt, I don't want them anywhere else.
cheers from (actually hot) Germany.
PS: Sorry for offtopic. ;)
But will try the F keys.
Ah, I found it!
I have read this as realistic on/off in the haste :D
The UI is a bit weird, but I think it will feel good once used to it.
Thanks a lot!
