Mouse Cursor constantly moving to the top of screen.
Freshly installed and go to run the game only to have to constantly fight the mouse cursor to try and click on any of the buttons. I have unplugged all controllers except for mouse and keyboard and reset my system. There is no way to adjust or delete any controller profiles the game already has. Its ridiculous.

This problem has made the game unplayable. Long time supporter of SimBim racing products but this pisses me off.

What brand desktop are you using? Some users have been having trouble with Cherry hardware. Did you try unplugging the keyboard too (if possible)?

I am running on a custom built i7 with Windows 7 Ultimate. I am using a Razer mouse and keyboard. No I haven't tried unplugging my keyboard yet but that is an idea. Thank you.

Try it mate, hope it helps. I know it ain't an elegant sollution but at the very least it would help narrow down the reason for the error. Simbin is aware of the hardware compatibility problems and they say they are working on it.

Feel free to ask for help again if it didn't work.

Didn't work unfortunately....no sure what is causing the issue.

Hmm, this is a rather strange error, haven't read about that one untill now. Did you verify the games cache files in steam and are you running the game as admin?

But it kinda sounds like a hardware issue. Do you by chance have a gamepad at hands? Because you can also navigate in-game with a gamepad. I would try to unplug the mouse too and instead just have the gamepad attached and see if it still happens.

But I'd totally understand if this is too much of a hassle for you. You can however always use the official support forum, support.raceroomracingexperience.com and report a bug ticket via the "contact us" tab. These tickets will get answered and maybe they know of another sollution.

Good luck.

I have the same issue still if I unplug EVERYTHING!

Can't even go through the menus without being extremely annoyed and altF4 usually is the way I exit.

FFB is all over the place, can't even tune, set keys etc. Why did the developers make a mouse only menu?!?!

It was always like that in Simbins titles and there are many PC-games with mouse-only menus. (Which doesn't make it any better for you, i know.)

Just a thought: Did you guys in any way overclock your rig?

As I said, report it at the official support forum if you will, maybe the devs know of a sollution.

I'm fine with a mouse only menu if it works fine for everyone :D

Yeah, pc is overclocked.

I have a few input devices so though it could be one of them but while ingame I disconnected them one by one and in the end even with the mouse unpluged the cursor was still moving up.

I honestly don't know if this could be the cause but maybe it's to do with the oc? Can you reset your hardware without too much hassle (save custom oc profile)? I'd give that a try.

I don't know if unplugging after launching the game is too late, could be. Maybe try to start the game with the mouse unplugged, by using the keyboard. Oh, do you have a high-end mouse that comes with custom drivers? Maybe those drivers are the cause?

Again, this error sounds weird, I don't really know how to fix this, just throwing in my thoughts hoping it might help.

Best regards

Try unplugging any controller, the analog stick might be pushing the cursor around.

I figured out my issue. In my game controllers settings I had two extra virtual devices that were automatically there after I installed drivers and stuff for a PS3 controller. Those virtual controllers had the up button stuck on them and the game was picking that up. I simply deleted them and it's all sorted now :)

How were you able to delete them with your cursor constantly moving to the top of the screen Niveus? I too see those extra loadouts but I am unable to delete them.
DORIGARU Jul 7, 2013 @ 6:18pm
You can't delete them ingame, you have to disable those devices by either removing their config or disabling them. If you open up game controllers settings you will see those extra devices there and you want to remove them from there.

Let me know how it goes.
