Game will not load 'single race' or 'practice' after selecting car and track.
I start the game from the Steam library. I get the warning 'Failed to start game (app already running)' but the game continues to load as normal. I select raceroom from the main menu; then select single player; then practice. I select the car and track and then select 'go race'. The loading screen shows for a few seconds and then goes back the screen where you select 'go race'. It will not load a race or a practice. I have verified the game cache; run those Redist.exe files from the Steam/Raceroom folder; restored Steam to it's original config; even deleted the game and reinstalled it. Don't know what else to do except assume it is a problem on their end and I just have to wait for them to fix their end. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

try it naked, no av, firewall etc...

Hi, i´m from germany my english is not so good but i have in the past the same problem.
In the speedport from our telekom is a firewall i cant make it out, my Kaspersky makes trouble too.I make it out ( off ??? ) and i can give for my cpu the port free. Orig. port number for R3e is 8080, 27036, 49882-49945 . Now i have no problems, but it was a long way that the game runs.

I have some updated info on my problem. I read a topic started today by Balazryche. He described a similar problem to mine but mentioned specific tracks (Norisring and Brands Hatch). I decided to start a practice session on every track/track layout and have found my problem exists on Norisring, Brands Hatch and Zolder. All other tracks work fine. This does leave me feeling this issue rests with R3E and I hope they fix it soon because Zolder is my favorite track.
