RaceRoom Racing Experience

Game doesn't reach the main menu
When I start the game all I see is cars driving around in slow motion in a washed out video, which I assume is either a loading screen or the menu background. The game never makes it past that point. It doesn't crash either, just that video in an endless loop.

The game used to work before the patch.

System: Old and rusty 32bit Windows Vista, Core 2 Duo E6300, ATI HD5670, 1920x1080

Had the same problem, but solution is found. See my post at the very end for a workaround - it works.

Enjoy.

I am not sure if you guys are talking about the same issue.
But i made a dummy account on my laptop and when i logged in to the game i was getting Black/blank screen with mouse icon.
If you do Alt-F4 the game many ask you if you want to quit via a in game menu so that means the game is running just not displaying.

My laptop display is 1366x768 so my guess was that R3E was having issue with that Resolution and i was right.
I hooked up a monitor via HDMI changed the resolution to 1920*1080 and launched the game again and boom i was in the game.
Then i unplugged my HDMI back to the laptop monitor and i was able to launch and play the game again.
I have a buddy who has the same issue i think it is also due to a weird resolution ( he uses two monitor not at the same resolution ) So if you have this issue set your computer at single monitor with normal resolution like 1920x1080.

No luck here so far. Changing desktop resolution didn't help and playing with task manager didn't help either. If I kill the RRRWebBrowser process in the task manager I can make the game produce a error message and I get a Quit to Desktop button that I can click. Steam Overlay works as well. But no way so far to make it past that video. Verification of data files didn't help either.

Following a few fairly brief loading pauses, R3E sits at a black screen unless a key is pressed. The background video appears after that and the mouse pointer will change in response to the (invisible) UI elements.

Alt-F4 is needed to exit the game. There are no crashes or errors at any stage, just looping footage without an interface.

Specs:

Intel i3-2100
8GB RAM
Nvidia 560 Ti (Version 344.48 driver)
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (fully updated)

Hello race fanatics for myself I found out that when I right click on desktop and in my case I then click on the AMD logo and from there I go to energy settings for games and there you put the RME.exe and RREwebbrouser.exe on saving energy so not on the high performans but the one sying energy saving. then I come in the new menu and if you have packs then go with mouse buttun to top of screen and then there come up the packs. beautiful.
