I was already registered, I have entered the website of the game and tried to install it. However, the link redirects me to the Steam page and from there again gives me the same problem. There is an alternative web other than steam from which to install?
I tried one thing on another pc from a friend, we copied into the "common" folder in steam, folder "RaceRoom" and have stuck in my pc. But it has not helped ... :(
My PC is:
AMD Phenom II X3 720 Procesor 3.31 ghz
Memory ram 4 GB
Sistem 64 bits
Windows 8.1
ATI Radeon HD 4800
How much free space do you have on the partition steam is installed in? Cause the game needs double the amount of its size for installation.
But you might try the forum here first: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php
However, I do not know if reinstalling steam will be the solution. Last night, I tried to get into steam from the account of my brother on my pc and it turns out we could download the game, install it and get in the game! After we agreed back in my account from the same pc. Already appeared in my library of games but I could not play because I jumped the same message: "looking game updates on steam".
It's something that makes no sense, if a problem of steam, it could not install the game with any account from my pc. The only thing I can think is that my account has a problem but not the steam program ...
Close completely the Steam client.
Open the command prompt by pressing the Windows key + r (You can also get here by going to the Start menu and typing run).
Write steam: // flushconfig and press enter. (If asked if you want to allow this page to open a bundle program click allow or accept).
Restart your computer.
Now, start Steam directly from your installation folder, not from an existing shortcut (~ C: \\ program files (x86) \\ Steam).
Steam application appear as Steam.exe Steam or depending on whether your settings show extension files or not.
The good thing is that I had to do backups or games, or delete steam.
Greetings.
Nice to hear. Have fun. :)
