just keep on drifting!!!!!!!!
But just a pointer have a look at this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pyMfSJQkwo
try assetto corsa for sure you would love drift in the green hell
Let's just keep R3E as it is, a GT racer.
WORD! \m/ :D
Get rFactor or DiRT: Rally or something. Stop trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole.
Now that the API bits have been published: https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/shared-memory-api.1525/ , maybe someone will come along and create an unofficial/external add-on which does what you are looking for (the point system you were talking about), I think it would be possible, seeing that
"Data about the car, such as gear, RPM, speed, DRS, etc.
Data about the race, such as position, lap times, etc.
High-precision data about the player, such as physical position/rotation, G-forces on the driver, etc."
are available for programmers.
No game atm feels as good as this one does when it comes to traction loss and steering wheel slip
Rfactor is one of the worst sims out there in my opinion.
I wasn't asking to change it, I was asking for a new mode to be considered.
This game has best drift physics. I can drift as is, but sometimes you need handbrake to correct your self.
I really think this game has the best physics at the moment for drifting. I mainly use the e30. I have 3 e36s in real life I drift when I can. One is my daily driver. the other a track car, and one a parts car.
This game feels very close to my cars in real life when it comes to drifting. I kinda suck, but I have fun, and what I do in this game helps me do it better in real life. Some games have great physics, but they all lack the feel when it comes to sliiding. Over all I am a better racer than drifter, but drifting is so much fun.
