If this had more racers I'd join in but LMU for what it is has more competition online

as i speak theres 700 somethin on RR, LMU has over 1,400 so more competition available so i race there.

Yeah multiplayer is basically dead. You have to get on a certain time of the day and week and then it's maybe 5-10 races and then it's dead again. It's one of the main reasons why I never dove completely into race room.

I think it's the absolute best sim out there but I play for the mp. One of the best things they have going for it is the championship races where you can practice and everyone gets on at one time. That should happen all year round.

Every monday and friday at rennsimulanten there is a race at 20:00 (northern europe)

Safetyrating 75 or higher and drive clean, anyone can join.

Rule is if you bump someone off the road , wait and join after.

And if there still is a problem they blacklist them.

Raido racing has some nice servers up,they do mostly gt3. But there is always ppl racing there.

My biggest problem with Raceroom is that the (Ranked) races on offer are limited. Unlike iRacing, there's not ALWAYS a rotation of MX-5/Porche Cup/BMW M2/GT3 or the F4 Teetus, or whatever.

Instead, the track/car combo is on a 2 week rotation, so you could end up with multiple rotations of low activity because the combos are unpopular.

The MX-5 Cup races are generally always packed, so why not offer them all the time?

Hopefully, the move to LFM will solve this problem, and hopefully it happens sooner rather than later.

just right..

there are a lot of skilled drivers on the site and the non-ranked races are showing very good lap times..

so, what's the problem ? why is there no more players into the ranked races (?)

maybe could we have a look at the ranked race repartition, there are currently two levels, based on the reputation

I don't know for others but personally, I have a good reputation but i'm not a quick racer.. meaning that I can't play the rookies races and the level +78 is trusted by 4-5 very quick racers and 10 more that are only better than me..

there is a gap between my current level and the ranked race I can play.. and this make my scoring mechanically going down race after race..

even if I'm keeping a good reputation, I'm loosing the confidance to play more ranked races just knowing in advance that I can't expect finishing better than 16 or 18 on 20 players..
