MANUAL TRANSMISSION
I have set the transmission for manual shifting in options but it doesnt seem to apply to the cars in the Euronics and KW challenges only the CR1 GT in the opening screen. How do I change it please? Cannot find anything when I am in the garage whilst doing the challenge. Changing the assists does nothing either regarding this. (Should have a better guide to this IMO). Thanks for any help

It depends on what difficulty you chose: Novice difficulty only runs auto-transmission. For amateur or Get Real you can set manual transmission in the "session settings" tab before starting the race.
