nurburgring wth

I think I know the answer but too lazy to investigate it right now so somebody edumacate me -

Why is Nurburgring on the leaderboard but not available in the store..? Because I just spent what I intend to be the last $ I'm going to on this until it's finished - and then I see Nurburgring in the leaderboard list. So I head back to the store thinking I missed it and it's not there to purchase.

Is it a DTM only track or something..? Whatever the reason, it stinks

Yes, due to licensing restrictions it is only limited to DTMEx. For now at least...

Yes, I really hope they will add the full Nordschleife track soon. This is the only real track I am interested in so untill they add it there is nothing else for me to buy. This game is taking a really long time to get off the ground and with all the upcoming racing games due to come out I cant see this game keeping many players interested for much longer :(

It took AC 6 years to get where it's at right now. Seeing the progress that has been made here in just over a year I think they are doing pretty good...

I agree that Nordschleife would be amazing and a Day-1-purchase for me. The Nordschleife in GTR Evolution is quite accurate and it only lacks a lot of atmosphere. But this shouldn't be a problem now for the RendR graphics engine in R3E.

I'm curious why they haven't added it for this yet. Is there some major difference with DTM that makes it not work..? They obviously have a working version of the track if it's available in DTM and would be a definite buy for most players, so it makes no sense that it's not available in both games. The licensing surely can't be too much of a hurdle - it's in almost every game and they already have it secured for DTM, which is just add-on content for R3E isn't it? It's confusing to me...

Just have to wait and hope it does get included. I don't see me buying DTM unless it goes on a massive sale, and I have enough other racing games that include decent versions of it, but I always want it - bit of an obsession with me, as it is with many others.

You talking bout the Nürburgring or the Nordschleife? Cause those are two different tracks. The Nürburgring as present in DTM is "merely" the GP course and I haven't heard of too many people that say this is a must have. If you indeed are one of those people, please apologize my stupid question. ;)
The answer to why it's in DTM but not (yet) in R3E you already gave yourself, licensing. Yes, technically DTMX is an R3E add-on but from a distribution/publishing pov they are two separate games with separate licenses...

Yup... in my world "Nurburgring" is inclusive (GP - Nordschleife old and new - 24 Hour - Sudschleife - whatever else I'm forgetting) it's all the same track to me and I want the GP version just as much. Can't say Sudschleife is a must but it would be a very nice touch - only know of one game that has a version and it's a player-created mod but a helluva lot of fun, I would flip to see one of these new sims with it included.

As for the licensing thing - I'm glad it's not my headache and hope it gets sorted, but it seems like something was "structured" poorly somewhere. Will wait and see - got enough to keep busy until then so not overly concerned.

Yeah, I actually though about the Südschleife and the Betonschleife myself already, having those layouts would be nice indeed. But as those haven't been used since the 70s and the Südschleife actually doesn't exist anymore, I kinda wonder whether it would be possible to get a license for making those or if a license is even needed...

Nurburgring is in the game, both Sprint and GP!
And not only in DTM.. .
Nordschleife is coming next year.
