Raceroom has the best sound and best control of any racing game I've played. It also has a fantastic collection of cars and tracks. The business model in my eyes is the best. With tracks and cars costing around 5 dollars it's a great deal. Just buy what you want and race. Pretty simple.
The only thing that's lacking in this game are the numbers of players in multiplayer. Other than that this game stands toe to toe with everything else.
I agree its a good game at the core. Just the buy now's everywhere is probs why there's not many players don't you think so?
I enjoyed my short time with it but I just don't like that everything costs real money.
I get skins but cars costing money??? That makes me assume that the cars are Pay to win?
or is there a way I can get that car with out paying real money?
It did feel old but that's ok.
i cant imagine a better business model. you buy what you want and can leave the rest. Iracing is 15 for tracks and cars. you can buy the whole lot of cars in raceroom from 70 bucks. this has to be the most affordable racer out there. the game is free to play and comes with a selection of cars. other than those you have to pay to play just like every other game out.
