RaceRoom Racing Experience

Please Sector 3 Studios, do something against the freaking CPU bottleneck in VR
I'm not able to hit 60 fps in VR, even at the lowest settings possible. The performance highly suffers from the dx9 API and just does not take avantage of my hardware (GPU at 40% usage). Can you at least make Vulkan avaiable for VR ??
Currently it's not possible. If I copy the two important files from the "x64dxvk" folder ("d3d9.dll" and "dxgi.dll") in the "x64" one, the game crashes immediately at start.

I'm having this issue too. Ryzen 5950X, RTX 4090. iRacing, Assetto Corsa, r Factor 2, and Automobilista 2 all run buttery smooth at 90Hz with most settings turned up and 5000x3160 per eye resolution. I was getting decent performance in RaceRoom before the graphics update. Now, my GPU frametimes show .3ms (enough to run the game at over 3000 FPS!) but when there are other cars on the track, FPS hovers around 60, and that's with almost all CPU-intensive settings turned down except shadows, which are set to low. I can almost get a steady 90 FPS when I'm the only car on track, or when using the bumper cam.

Yes please devs, work on the VR optimization. It is not very good at all.

Exactly as above, posted a week ago about VR with my 5800x3d. Worst CPU utilization I have ever experienced in any sim, was better before update

Wow,I am glad that isnt happening to me because that would be a bummer. Quest 3 at 120 hz is butter smooth...4080 / 7800x3d 5408 x 2912 res...

I'm running a GTX 3060 on my laptop and this game is smooth as anything with a Quest 2 on almost lowest settings. Still looks decent enough too. Runs better than any other sim in VR.
