whats the fastest car in the game?

by fastest i mean 'achievable top speed'..not necessarily the one with the fastest potential around a given circuit.

Not sure what the top speeds are but I did some testing on the Indy circuit since it seems to have the longest straight and the GT X series were the fastest. I used the default setup on all the cars and I drove them wrong way out of the pits and then past the cones so I could get as much of the oval circuit as possible. I drove the cars all the way until I crashed into the barrier near turn 1.

Prototypes ~ 195 mph
GT X ~207 mph
Daytona Prototype 171 mph
Radical AER 174
Radical Judd 171
Aquila 173
Saleen GT1 186
Ford GT 184
BMW Judd 173

I would try Bathurst instead, with the downhill part.

Does downhill count when measuring top speed though i thing a flat straight is more accurate

Fastest top speed i think was 373kmh. I think that was in the Nissan R390k or Frx17. (custom setups) In those cases limitation was finding a track long enough.

But they've added Ovals since i done that test so maybe those speeds can be exceeded.
