RaceRoom Racing Experience

RaceRoom Racing Experience

RRE
Can any of you legends out there give some advice on the following.
I recently downloaded RRE on pc. The game graphics and physics are really good and can't wait for the new ypdaye next month. I however am getting frustrated, as I lose power/acceleration and it takes forever to gut acceleration up in sharp corners or corners that are uphill. I play F1 2024, EA WRC, AC, Grid Legends and don't encounter this issue. Any advised to fix this would be very much appreciated.

To add to the above post, I am using a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals on pc.
Check pedalinputs in software from your wheel and ingame.
Perhaps they need calibration or maybe a potmeter is dirty and doesn't register movement correctly.
Try to bind the inputs again
Thanks for the responses. I have taken the pedals apart, removed, cleaned and reassembled, checked no movement on potmeter. Pedals recalibrated and show they working fine. Still no difference. All other sim games are working fine??
Do you drive in get real, amateur or novice? Which car has that behavior? It sounds like TC is cutting your power.
Drive in novice mode as I only downloaded the game about 10 days ago. It is like that will all cars. My TC setting was on 1. I have tried TC at all levels and it seems that on 5 or 6 there is much better levels of power/acceleration. Thanks for the feedback @DirtyChaos, what a legend bro!!. Will play with TC at highest for now. Will test all my cars to see impact of changed TC.
Out of intetest, does the TC level have to change if driving in the get real or ameteur modes?
Don't use novice, try amateur instead.
Novice mode has all driving aids active and intervene your inputs. My suggestion would be to go into get real mode. From there you can activate the driving aids you need. Maybe you even don't need the aids. Or like Peter said, try amateur.

TC 1 is full TC and TC 6 is off. You can change the parameters for every TC level individually. I don't know if that is also possible for cars, who normally don't have TC (change TC parameter).

I would say you don't have to change the TC when driving with get real or amateur. In competition for a fast lap I drive between TC 3/4. During the race I stay on 1. Pros I see are staying on 6, I think.
Check your TC settings as others have said. If you're frustrated with lack of power exiting corners, increase the slip % and decrease the power cut % and try different TC levels. Assign buttons on your wheel for TC Up and TC Down then experiment
Thanks guys for the feedback. Since the last feedback from DirtyChaos, I have tried all the classes of cars I have open, but experience the power/acceleration issues in the corners only with the cars in the TC Cup and Touring Car Classics classes. Other classes like GT, TT RS, CLK, DTM, WTC, Trucks, GTO, GTR have no issue now?
Ganna try ameture mode.
@lil'j-easy, where do I find the slip% and power cut % in the settings? Sorry for the dumb question, but new to this and eagerly wish to have a better playing experience.
It's TC, but try amateur first and work your way up.

sorry mate I forget that steam has notifications, but if you haven't found it, it's under the electronics tab of the vehicle tuning dashboard, which you'll find when you're loaded up (idk if you can make tunes in the menus outside of a game)
