Work around with brake pedal range? (logitech)
Hi,recently found out brake pressure is to sensitvie.
As son i touch the brake pedal brake input show 1/4 of braking, often is too much with 0 sens in game
when i not focus on the brake bar to modulate have inconsistent braking.
Tried the low end dead zone but sadly gave me less braking modulation possibilities.
Ps: modded pedal with rubber to have a reference when full brake (around 3/4 travel)
Is there something i can do to have it less sensitive?

Set Sensitivity to 50, that is linear I believe.

It was at first but as decrase it more and more,i get more control of the braking.
(Have same for the throttle, but but with 20% sens,i have enough control on accelaration,i'm braking and control the speed in corner witn throttle,an on/off pedal is not useable for me)

50 is 1:1 for wheel and pedals, other numbers either increase or decrease the amount of input, up to 50%, then it switches basically. I don't know which direction makes the initial part of the travel more or less sensitive, I always want 1:1. If you are on controller it can help smooth out the inputs for very slight turning.

100% makes the car wheel turn faster in the first part of the rotation and slower in the second part (not linear).
50% (linear) means that the car wheel turns at the same speed on a full rotation.

0% lets the car wheel turn slower in the first part and faster in the second part of the rotation .

The same for pedal sensitivity.

Ok I just sped up my steering from 408 to 350, I moved brake bias to the rear, AND WENT FROM 100 % BRAKE sensitivity to 80 % and the car feels much closer than it did. I could finally feel the brakes working and not locking up. Thanks to Capersnip for giving me that idea.

Thanks for that explaination
Need that for brake to not lock up the brake in the initial touch of the pedal

Hi,have increased the sens wheel because i don't use inverted ffb (feeel odd the whell turn itself toward a corner,i don't feell i'm driving the car),and it conteract a bit the soft part in the center of the wheel (t300rs) often at 1/4 of rotation the car bearly turn/counter-steer

Inverted FFB has nothing to do with sensitivity settings. Only with the wheel brand, some use and some don't.

Fanatec and logitech use reverted, Thrustmaster and DD wheels don't.

i was not refering to sensitivity with the inverted ffb, have mismatch the 2 things.
"feell odd the whell turn itself toward a corner,i don't feell i'm driving the car" ;-)

Reworked my rubbermod for the brake, now stiffer earlier shaved 0.2 sec of my time.
But brake still sensitive at 30% low end dead zone and 35% sensitivity.
Maybe i push to hard the pedal and need a load cell^^

Hi,little update
i got similar issue in an other game, after some research, disabled some windows things, that improved a bit thing in that game.
Tried today in raceroom, worked well first time, then open thrustmaster control panel pushing the pedals to see what is what and little range of brake was back.
Turn out,the software calibrate it-self the pedal, needed to go full pedal travel first and put the brake mod back after and not touching again the pedals when the thrustmaster control panel is open.

Some update.
Tried the mx-5 competition event Suzuka short (free to play) brake pressure at 80%,brake sensitivity at 8%,worked not too bad managed a 56.8
Logitech pedal mod=too stiff to use with the metal chair, the thrustmaster pedal mod a bit too soft,i hit full brake too early.
