G25 Driver
With the latest update of RRE, there is at times a screen popping up, saying only to use the latest driver from Logitech, for the wheel to work correctly. The Version is 510.127 however the date says it is from March 2016. I have been looking all over logitechs website to find the driver from 2016. The only thing I get is the 510.127 from 2010 (currently installed).
Not sure if this is the same?
Perhaps someone can shed some light on this.

This version was updated on March 14, 2016 but kept the old version number. Only Logitech knows why.

Hey,
thanks for that input.
All is good then and I don't have to worry, ha, ha.
I usually don't create profiles anyway, found they are somewhat confusing and you never know what is fighting over what.
In fact, I think I will uninstall the profiler, since I think it is better to let the games settings take over, less confusion.

Thanks again!
Cheers and good luck at the track....

When you update your G25 to this you will now notice in your logitech folder that the folders inside have been updated to 2016 and the files below remain the same as before. This may be why the version number does not change.

Hey, I'll go and check it.
Thanks!

Just checked, seems like the only change is a *.dll e.g. the actual driver all others are from 2010. The the DLL's (32bit/64bit) are in an folder called SDK (Software Developer Kit)

All I know is I had version 5.10.127 already but after the RRE update my wheel rotations were off, so I downloaded the March 14, 2016 logitech g27drivers and now its all back to normal.

Baker,
I don't doubt you. The quick check actually revealed that there was an update in the SDK. The DLL in there was in fact from March 17 2016.
So, I believe you are right, they simply put an updated DLL into the install package and left the rest as was.

I'm pretty sure the splashscreen advising you to update drivers is in fact for the newer wheels , G29 & G920
