This or Race Injection?

Curious what the differences are? Are they worth it?

Race injection is great, lots of content. That is if you don't mind the dated look of it. Tons of Mod you can download for it. But R3E is a way more "matured" racer even if its still in beta. The feel of each cars and track is incredible and all the possible competetions you can partake for free + DTM experience add on makes for an extremely solid and rewarding racing game, even in a beta form.

If you ask me investing a little in r3e is better , but if your looking for lots of content and as i said don't care about visuals then Race Injection might be for you.

Thanks, I am new to racing sims, not looking to spend too much initially to get a feel for it.

I like RRRE, I have the free version. I am having more issues dialing down my xbox controller than the actual racing part at this point. I guess I will see where the f2p takes me at this point.

You can get Race Injection cheap...its worth getting......lots of fun and tons of content. I am currently driving the VW Golf R in the STCC, great fun.

i dont know this for sure, but R3E was at least initially designed with good controller support in mind. i dont -think- the same could be said of race07 titles. tbh though, ive played very little of them, & not at all with a controller.

Raceroom comes without multiplayer. i had years of online fun with the race series. controller suppoert is the same in race07. raceroom is crap at the moment and it will make your wallet empty. save your money for project cars ;-)

I agree with everything except don't save money for PC. Save for AC.

Forget Theses. Race injection is old now and R3E is not a game for now, no solo, no multi, nothing.
Come on Assetto Corsa, it work already fine whith many many people on multi.
Or GameStockCar Extreme. Only direct x9 graphics, but very pretty. All the rest is perfect, sounds, physics. The multi work fine too, with some players who try the last update :), 24 guys fighting with Formula Vee last night, was great.

I have the F2P version of RRRe, but I have not played Race Injection(which has no demo) so I am unable to compare.

Race injection is actually Race 07 + all the expansion packs that came in 2011. You can try a demo of Race 07, Stcc, Race on and GTR evo. Stcc, Race on GTR evo are also expansion packs. If you have Race injection, Stcc, Race on GTR evo you have the complete game.

Get a good wheel + GTR2 for few euros plus the totally free millions add-ons tracks and DTM 2013 and ADAC 2012. (esr or nogrip websites).
Then you have the best SIM ever for a very small price. You can tweak any file manually, create your own car, championship... It's never ending possibilities. And you will get full AA and anisotroping in HD at 60fps with no problems.
