R3E isn't using my GTX GPU full power
I'm trying to run R3E with max graphics, but I barely get 50fps with MEDIUM video settings. Using Nvidia Inspector I've found that my GPU isn't 100% used - in fact is much lower than that. The video adaptar is with Vsync OFF, running in fullscreen, with the lastest versions os R3E and NVIDIA drivers. Any ideias?

I cant do anything with this info.. What GTX do you have? , what are the specs of the pc?

This game isnt that demanding so you probably dont have a fast pc.

check your monitor refresh rate , and check refresh rate within nvidia control panel.. if your monitor has a lower refresh rate or your using an hdmi cable that will cap you to max 60fps. @ max settings R3E is a pretty demanding game , although well optimised. on a single screen I run it @ 100+fps , on triples in surround , I don't push it over 60..

My PC is an i3 6100, 2x 4GB DDR4, Nvidia GTX 970 and 240Gb SSD. While I was playing R3E CPU was at 40%, RAM at 50% and GPU on 50%, but fps was low. Assetto Corsa is a much heavy game, and it runs smoothly with higher FPS (~80), so I don't think the problem is with my hardware for now.

I'm not using vsync, my monitor has a 60hz refresh rate, but every other game runs better. I'm reinstalling R3E and Nvidia drivers to see if the problem persists. Thanks!

Nothing has changed after reinstall the game. All drivers and SO up-to-date. The solution was cap video settings, even with about 50% GPU power remaining. Bad implemented game, i'm waiting for a fix.

I've got some help from other players, everyone has a similar system's behavior. So, I guess this is a poorly implemented game. If you have any ideas about how can I test it I'll be glad to do so.

Had the same problem. Download MSI Gaming App and set it to Gaming or OC mode. I've found that in conjunction with MSI Afterburner they don't work. Either use MSI Afterburner (if you know what you're doing with overclocking) or MSI Gaming App for an out of the box selection.
Let me put this the simple way.... the game is running in low GPU power mode. You can do also try NVIDIA profiler with Afterburner to manage your OC and GPU power settings.

Thank you. So, I'm not a overclocker person and I don't know how to overclock, what can I do? I've tried to put my GPU under "Max performance power" under NVIDIA's control panel, but unfortunately it has no effects in performance.

Well... to all of you that are having issues with GTX GPU's. Download MSI Gaming App (i have a GTX 980 Gaming 4G so i don't know if it works for other brands but you can try as i think it doesn't do any harm. Bear in mind that the app takes about 4/5 minutes to fully load. Don't stress out). Select OC or Gaming mode from the profile screen. Minimize the windows app (don't close!!!). Launch the game. That's it.
Alternatively you can use MSI Afterburner. Go easy with this as it can do some damage to your GPU. Remember, google is always your friend. Google "how to use msi afterburner to overclock safely".
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll try it tonight.

Unffortunately is only for MSI GPUs. :(

Hello Bruno. Try the MSI Afterburner. It works for any brand using NVIDIA chips. Google "Safe GPU Overclocking Guide 2016 R1.3" from tomshardware.

why can't play the game?
murph.the.smurph Sep 25, 2016 @ 5:15pm
FYI, the latest Nvidia drivers have a bug that can cause a GPU to not be running full clock speed when gaming. Sometimes a system restart fixes it, sometimes (usually) not. A solutions for now is to revert back to an older driver version. I reverted back to a driver from August and the problem was fixed.
