This applies to any really tight hairpin:
Rwd
Make sure your in get real mode, hit outer apex whilst slowing right down to 1st gear, get on the gas early to cause rear end to kick out a little, giving you more angle, not too much so almost immediately come off gas to point front end towards exit apex and back on gas.
Fwd
Clip outer apex whilst almost coming to a stop, cut in as early as you can to clip inner apex then hit the throttle later, just before you are almost around the corner, because fwd straighten up fast when you throttle so you want to clip the exit apex while on full lock and full throttle.
Just practice braking time, cutting in time and throttle time for both methods and you will be fine.
Hope it helps.
I changed the steering settings from 8 to ~15/16
