No H shift

I can´t shift with the H shifter. Automatic clutch is off. Re assigned the shifter-there you can see that the H shifter can be configured and works fine. In the advanced options I have H shift activated. In other games is the H-shifter working. In Win 7 64bit ( a half year ago) it was working correct but I think it has to do anything with the game. Maybe you can help?

Maybe you're in a car that does not actually come equipped with a H-pattern gearbox. Try in an older car, perhaps Group 5, DTM 1992 or Touring classics. They all have H-boxes.

Thanks for the hint! But it won`t work on older cars also. I can configure the H shift gears but no shifting possible... H profile is activated. I go on searching at the weekend!

I think it is an win10 problem. Because: I run this simulation under win7 and the H-shift was perfect. I also have read that there are a few guys with the logitech g27 H-shifter have the same problem under win10. (I use the fanatec shifter and this works perfect in other games. AND: The sequential shifting is possibal with this shifter). Whats wrong with win10?

Everything. ;) I refuse to "upgrade".

Anyway, perhaps try setting the game shortcut compability mode to Windows 7?

Thanks Porkhammer! This works. I changed to win7 at first -shifter works fine. Than I updated Win10. After that I undo the win7 compability and now the shifter works perfect with win10!

Right-click Raceroom in your Steam library, click "properties". Click the tab "local files", and then "browse local files". This will take you to the game install location. Click the "Game" folder, find the RRRE.exe (you might need to enable file extensions via folder options in Windows if you don't see it), right click this shortcut and click "properties".

Press the "Compability" tab. Tick the box that says "Run this game in compability mode for..." and finally choose the operation system you reckon will work best.

Hit "apply".

Start the game.
