With a little stup adjustments these cars handle fine. Theyre most fun on short tracks where top speed isnt that important. But the power isnt that bad.
If you think they drive bad, youre overdiving the car. Had a few races with them in my community and you have to get used to the class.
As far as launching, whenever I play them I just put the foot to the floorboard and hold it there. The traction control, since most Silhouette series servers are Amateur setting, the TC kicks in and keeps from spinning wheels. I race a few races last night and was able to get good launches that way. Even passed a car before the first chicane, hehe.
I find if I have traction control off the car launched fine everytime, but then I lose out in the tight corners via wheel spin.
Alternatively if traction control is on i find it a hit and miss affair,,, the dreaded bog down then the noobs and rammers have you in the first turn....
I have found that if I time dropping the clutch just right the car launches great,, but getting that right is very hit and miss.
Anybody know how to launch these things well,,, please let us know...
