RaceRoom Racing Experience

Wreckers
There has got to be some way, Raceroom, to deal with the little children who thinks it's great fun to wreck anyone in sight and totally ruin races for all. I have got a lot of money in this game and it would be nice to be able to use the cars and tracks without these idiots running over everyone. The problem is only getting worse. I admit I don't have the slightest idea of how to fix the problem, but someone at Raceroom might have a look.

Paid content has barely any wreckers
Organized races by Sim Racing System (SRS) have even less.

Good point with the paid content. Not familiar with the SRS.

Not the point chaps, the point Mr Rives was trying to make is correct.Something MUST be done to curb the wreckers. It's not hard. Another totally stupid point is the "penalties". Every time you get punted off by some target-fixated juvenile on wiggly-sticks, you get the penalty for being a target of an idiot.. The penalties need to DROPPED completely for straying 2 inches off the road when pushing hard, it's ludicrous, and replaced with contact penalties, that will simply make them all go somewhere else. You are harming YOUR product by not doing anything about this issue. This is NOT a free game, we have ongoing finances tied up in this product, we are not able to take full advantage of. Drive the IDIOTS away, and they will be replaced with decent people. Simply killing their online (multiplayer) priviledges for a month at a time would prompt most to leave or to lift their game. These young fools need structured discipline. I enjoy the free content/ams servers. Teaching noobs a few things and watching them improve through a session is very rewarding, why should I stop that? Sadly, the paid content servers are empty most of the time... I am a paying subscriber, and I expect decent service and conditions for my money. Anyone from Raceroom that would like to speak with me about this can contact me at geoffR51@hotmail.com. Something has to be done...get ppl on the servers.

Funny. In the community that i race in we used to have closed off races. Lately we tried open for all events and so far we didnt have any wreckers during the events.

Maybe because the top drivers are way faster than any noobs and that scares em off...dunno.

Great news SuperEgo, I'll keep an eye out for your server. Love racing with people that understand the etiquette of the race track. Perhaps when I get inclined, an article on track etiquette may happen. Some instruction on rejoining the track after an "off" (self-inflicted) , and your lack of right to the racing surface after the aforesaid "stunt". Involving other drivers in YOUR accident is not cool. Many wreckers are entering the srvers without being identifiable. How about electronicly eliminating any "users" that refuse to use their correct name. Take some responsibility for your actions people....of all ages. We need to get some discussion going around this stuff. Many out their that do not have formal racing experience, have no idea that exists a set of principles that revolve around and through respect for the fellow competitor. I know, it's a simulation/game. It is NOT GTA V. Driving like you could kill the other driver if you screw up, will make fundamental changes to your driving. I spent a decade racing 250GP motorcyles through the early/mid 80s in Australia. You learned on those things to keep an eye out for each others safety. The racing was better, and the self-inflicted (mistake) crashes still happened, but less frequently....lol. I learned stuff from everyone I raced against/with.

Well Geoff, actually alot of drivers in our community dont use their real names. Because theyve used their nicknames in previous sims in the community, too confusing finding out whos who.

It's why we're here, I haven't gone near a public server in ages, you want private servers full of other clean and fast racers.
Look no further

All races streamed and leagues and prizes https://youtu.be/T6vqDFLQ1do

But I totally agree, I used to start threads just like this until I joined ESR
Hope it helps.

And that’s when you decide it’s time to start a private league using a dedicated server. I did. Never looked back.

I agree:
1st: Stop playing free contents
2nd: Start playing SRS
... 8)
