Steam Overlay not Working?

The Steam overlay isn't working for me in RaceRoom. It works in other games and I do have "Enable the Steam overlay" checked in the RaceRoom game properties.

I've made sure any other overlay thing isn't running (MSI Afterburner overlay, etc.). Any ideas?

I cant even get to sign into the Raceroom store because i cant sign in with Steam ?

No. I never found a solution and still don't have the Steam overlay in RRE.

I asked on the official forums and only got unhelpful replies saying, "well, it works for me". I emailed the devs and never got a reply.

I just tried to access the store in two different browsers and it won't accept my Steam login either. I can access the store through the in-game menu, though.

Well, I didn't do anything differently, but I tried it recently and the Steam overlay works now.

If someone finds this thread because they have the same problem, there is no solution beyond the "normal" stuff above. It seems you just have to wait for the witchcraft to fizzle...
