We are not aware of any issue with Weight of Sin not working correctly. Did you try from a different height, if possible?

Thanks for getting back to us.
Would you be able to provide a video of this occurring at all so we can take a closer look?
You can either upload it here on Steam and provide us with the link, upload it to YouTube as an unlisted video and provide us with a link or alternatively, you can email it to us over here[team17.helpshift.com] using the chat in the bottom-left corner of the window and attaching it when prompted :)
If you do email, please be sure to reference this Steam thread in your email so we can link the two together!
Get back to us when you can.

Thank you for getting in touch with us on this issue as well.
Could you please use the above steps to send us a video of the issue happening?
This would help us understand exactly what is going on and be able to help further.
Get back to us when you can.

The two areas I had this problem were Two Moons (where the Pewter Beads are located) and in Labyrinth of Tides. For some reason, when I tried to get footage for the Two Moons location, it worked and I got through despite failing every other time. So my video only includes the Labyrinth of Tides.
Thank you kindly for sharing a video with us on this issue!
We will get back to you through email as soon as possible!
Thank you for your patience.

That prompted me to investigate a bit on my own. After playing with the framerate limiter in my AMD Catalyst UI, I resolved to go in-game and set the VSync to "No", and ... That fixed it for me :)
Somehow, I had noticed that the game's behaviour was counter intuitive when fiddling with VSync (I'm playing on my second monitor, which is 120Hz VRR display ... My main monitor is a 240Hz VRR display, so there is room for confusion).
So it seems this issue is timing related. With the FPS capped to 60 (as is only happening with Vsync disabled for me), then the issue is gone.
Hope that also works for others !
Thanks for getting in touch - we're sorry to see you also experience this issue.
We're glad to see that you were able to find a workaround in the meantime and appreciate you sharing this with both us and other players - we have also made this information available to the team to aid in their investigation :)
Please don't hesitate to reach out in the future should you have any further queries.
