Special Resonances

I don't know if this was in the game before the DLC or not, so I'm assuming it was added with the DLC.

Some of the Altarpiece statues now come with Resonances when paired with other, SPECIFIC statues. These are unique benefits that probably shouldn't be disregarded. You'll know you get this effect when the statues have Halos around their heads. Unfortunately, I still haven't found all of the new statues so this list probably isn't complete.

Here are the combinations I've found, with some sorting based on whether they're generic or fit a specific play style.

Generic Effects

Alchemical Time
The Ecstatic Novice + Nacimiento
Drinking a Bile Flask halts the passage of time for a few seconds (about 3). Does not work if you do not recover from the use of the flask.

Slaughter
The Ecstatic Novice + Viridiana
Executing an enemy halts the passage of time for a few seconds.

Liquid Faith
The Scribe + Nacimiento
Drinking a Bile Flask regenerates a good amount of Fervour

Ascending Wrath
Tirso + The Mercy
Each successful Blow with any weapon progressively increases damage inflicted for a limited period of time.

Sacred Shelter
Cobihada Mayor + The Family
After receiving several blows, emanate a powerful wave, inflicing damage on all enemies in sight.

Thorned Retort
Trifon + The Alchemist
Creates a barrior of thorns when struck, inflicting Miasma damage.

Storm Steps
The Pillager + The Tempest
Dodge creates lightning bolts, which damage nearby enemies.

Briar and Thorn
The Pillager + The Alchemist
When dodging, a barrier of thorns is invoked, damaging and piercing through enemies.

Contagion
The Partisan + The Alchemist
Blocking an attack creates a whirlpool of Miasma that damages nearby enemies.

The Path of the Believer
Trifon + Castula
If Guilt is at zero, the Penitent One will survive a fatal blow, restoring Health and Bile Flasks to maximum. However, Guilt will also fill up completely.

Ruego Al Alba Effects

Purging Steel
The Punished One + The Confessor
A dark force born of one's own Guilt runs through Ruego Al Alba. Increases the Mystical damage of Blood Pact depending on the Guilt accumulated.

Rosary of Torment
The Punished One + The Guide
Reaper Rosary launches a cutting wave that causes Mystical Damage.

Galvanic Plead
The Punished One + The Tempest
Blood Pact imbues the blade of Ruego Al Alba with lightning

Endless Wrath
The Partisan + The Demented One
Killing an enemy during Blood Pact renews its duration.

Sarmiento & Centella Effects

Purging Silver
The Veteran One + The Confessor
A dark storm born of Guilt itself sweeps across the silver. Increases the damage of Sarmiento & Centella's lightning bolts depending on the amount of Guilt accumulated.

Spellblade
The Veteran One + The Guide
Verdadera Destreza charges Sarmiento & Centella's blades with currents of Mystical damage. In addition, Sacred Lunge casts a shadow that strikes after a short moment.

Stormrage
The Veteran One + The Tempest
Sarmiento & Centella's strikes can create chain lightning bolts that damage nearby enemies.

Second Wind
The Pilgrim + Nacimiento
Drinking a Bile Flask regenerates all Verdadera Destreza markers.

Veredicto Effects

Purging Bronze
The Anointed One + The Confessor
Inflames Veredicto with dark fire born of Guilt itself. Increases damage depending on accumulated Guilt.

Deflagration
The Anointed One + The Purified Ones
Boosts some of Verdicto's hits, creating bursts of fire when activated.

Burning Faith
The Thrurifer + The Selfless Father
Reduces Fervour consumption to zero by keeping Veredicto in an Active state. Only affects the fervour cost of keeping Veredicto active.

Prayer Effects

Orison Apocrypha
The Woman of the Stolen Face + The Flagellant
Intones occult versions of certain prayers, which should never again be uttered. Changes the appearance of some prayers, but not their function.

I've seen other guides taht don't have some of the ones you do. Thanks for this. I also was planning to check on what combos might work after i recollect all the statues including the new ones you earn for doing the penences
