However, once you reach 10 gold lumps delivered in total, the game gives you a reward and proceeds to consider the top row "complete" even though there may be lumps in the bottom row still showing as placed. This sets up a situation where adding lumps may or may not progress the row completion accurately and likely is a source of many reported related bugs/errors.
You can either wait for a patch or restart a game and aim to either drop all 20 lumps at once or only collect lumps from the base game first and add them for the first reward in the hopes that this will satisfy the checklist conditions.

They obviously did it to tempt future players whom just opted to buy the main game to then purchase Mea Culpa for the second 10, and yet it's those of us that have dutifully bought the DLC who are suffering from such a dumb design decision now.
