Cursed Letter Bug?

I'm currently almost done with my NG+ playthrough after the new update, but I can't get the second cursed letter to drop. This is the one where you kneel in front of the mirror in Two Moons. I kneel for a very long time and I can't seem to get it to work. Has anyone else had this issue, or is this a result of me keeping my stuff from the first playthrough?

Same here and I suggest filing a bug report at team17’s website. They suggested to verifyfiles’ integrity but to no avail. I sent them my save file to investigate, perhaps it would be the best if who experiences it does the same

I did send this to the devs, and they suggested to verify the game files. That didn't work for me, but it might for you guys. Either way, they passed it along, so hopefully there can be some kind of fix for this
