I saw videos where this move could be endlessly exploited, so instead of fixing the flawed logic that pushed Asterion to keep doing the same mistake over and over, they just removed a core mechanic.
Perfect parries is now useless against this boss.
The devs balance-patched this already cheap unfair and ill-designed boss in the wrong direction *sight*

The fight is pretty easy even without parrying. Only the spinny move is kinda busted.
