I don't know how they even manage to fk it up so much, they had the perfect formula in blasphemous 1...
I mean you don't even get to keep anything from the previous run xD
All in all, you are a bit worse for HP retention but it's one of easier penitences to take.
btw, don't do the golden flask quest, it will take away a flask and won't give you anything if you have orbs enables. That's the only bug with it currently.
Just by looking at the health bar, you get this impression: "Oh! It works like the first game's penance. Small, fast hits = more deadly. Big, slow hits = not so scary."
But that's not how it works at all... Those giants with the two-handed incense hammers? 2 globes if you get whack-a-mole'd. Those guys that swing the incense around three times before lunging forward? 3 globes. HOW DOES THAT MAKES SENSE?
Any hit should be 1 health globe period. Done. End of story. And blood vials should slowly regen them like the first game instead of instant.
HOW. DID. THEY. DROP. IT. THIS. HARD?
But I also noticed a bug, sometimes a hit takes 2 orbs, sometimes the same hit one shots me with 4 orbs. There's no consistancy :/
