How many vials can one get as maximum health?

I have gotten 5 until now and I am not able to get past the boss eviterno yet even with them. are there any more I can stock up to help me?

5 + 1 is max amount of flasks, with the last one being a part of a quest line in DLC. You can upgrade effectivness of flasks with Crystal shards, but i think you just need to optimize other aspects, like picking right statues for altarpiece and use different beads.

If you are still struggling in terms of amount of damage you take, maybe using different approach would help. Easy trick for most enemies is to touch enemy and take contact damage before the attack, so you don't take full damage from attack.

thanks I beat the boos after about 50 tries. time spent well lol. The first phase is genuinely to get you out of rhythm it seemed with it being so easy! The timestop mechanic during healing came in handy. OMG the game did not end here. thought it was the final boss or is it just some platforming challenges onwards?

there's a hidden six health upgrade if the chalice was ALWAYS filled the blood the moment you gave the items for the health upgrades, everyone miss this so is not really important or decisive

i do not have the DLC and i got the hidden ending. wish there was a way to lower difficulty on few bosses and include more platforming challenges.
