He is not as hard as eviterno but he's no pushover. Because of the game's recent bug his sword twoshots you in ng+, it's some clean 170+ dmg per hit, with phys resist beads.
However he is easy to read, I spent way too much time trying to best him with veredicto out of stubborness, but when I pulled centella I did him in in some 5 tries.
I can kinda see that, but it's strange. I did my first run with Cantella and found it a miserable experience (especially against the little leaping guys.) Choosing Venedicto as my starter weapon made the game considerably easier for me due to its sheer reach.
The main exception being bosses that require a lot of rapid movement. I do feel kinda sluggish using Venedicto. It's only two bosses in the entire game, but still...
Different encounters favor different weapons. Veredicto has superior range, air combat and damage per hit, but centella can parry and dashstab and has a quick recovery time to allow you to escape easier.
Gamers amirite
whats the point of sayin this tho
If you can figure this out, you'll gain some insights on human behaviour.
I mean, Veredicto is fantastic against many enemies, but it's fairly bad in duel style bosses as most of the hitboxes are wasted, the difference is positioning isn't that big of a deal, and they change animations very fast.
