Did i get softlocked?

I was fighting against Benedicta, and on the exact same moment i beat her, i died.
But since then, i can´t progress the story, and even can´t gather points to upgrade my weapons, is there a way to rollback?

Exact same thing just happened to me. Defeated her and after her death animation I got hit by one of her spinning tower thingies and killed me. I got the achievement for killing her and my game got stuck with the overlay you get when you retrieve your body. She's supposed to drop a key when she dies, but I don't have it and the Sea of Ink bridge is not there.

It isnt, the map stays exactly the same as before I defeated her

Yeah, I think restarting the game is the only fix

Had the same problem yesterday. I've sent a support request on Team 17 website with my savefile attached. Hopefully they can to fix it, I don't want to lose 10+ hours of progress :(

check your saves folder, usually there are backup save files you can rename and paste instead of the main save file and hopefully some of your progress will be recovered

Tengo el mismo problema, no se activo la cinemática y tampoco puedo continuar con la historia. :C

Por suerte el soporte de team 17 se comunico conmigo y me dijeron que iban a parchearlo tan pronto sea posible pero que no me podian dar una fecha estimada. Queda esperar a que lo arreglen en alguna futura actualizacion

I am, unfortunately, in the exact same boat as you. Looks like this game had a ton of ways to get softlocked...I am around 57% in the game (21+ hours). I've went through the entire map and done everything I can with the unlocks available.

I died to Benedicta right after killing her. My screen stayed stuck on the "you died" message and I had to kill the game and restart it for it to go away. When I came back, and could actually see what I was doing, the boss was defeated and I didn't have the key they are supposed to give after a cutscene. Looking online I can't even find any cheats or trainers to give me the item so I can progress.

After playing this long I can't see myself going back to this game unless they end up providing a fix. Losing a couple of hours is fine but losing the length of many games is just a hard stop/can't recommend the game :(
