most hated regular enemies
Some enemies are just infuriating even tho most of the game is pretty easy. Here are my picks.

Early to mid game: the chandelier guy. They are easy to parry but when you f*ck up once and there are other enemies around, maybe even a second one of those they just stunlock you to death.

Late game: those Bishop ghosts with the two swords and the big hat. I hate them to a degree that i actually think they need reworking. The window they are vulnerable is so short and if they get you once, that can easily cost you your life.

Honorable mention:

Those floating coffins get knocked bach waaaay too far. Its just annoying.

Those fire spitters on the walls. Just a huge boring waste of time. They need less HP.

What are your most hated enemies :D ?

the dolphin spawner women and the little jumpin dagger using dudes are by far the most annoying

The dagger guys sure are annoying too.
Purple teleporting ghosts with the sword hands is the only moment in this game I switch veredicto for another weapon.

I don't find any of the regular enemies particularly hard. Certainly not to the point of being infuriating. That is probably because I used Verdicto all the way with occasional swap to Ruego for parry. If you struggle with something try to change up your tactics (using spells is fine!) or just skip it.
But on the other hand there are certainly a lot of enemies that are super-annoying. Like those flying lanterns that become invulnerable when splitting in two. Also, challenge-rooms are way overused in the late game. Good thing you only need to do them one time each.

Yea. I was mostly talking about being annoying, not hard. Only the sword bishops can be kind of a problem.

I finished the game today.

Really not sure if I'm missing something with the bed dudes that spam 3 homing orbs. You can't slide through them because they're so wide, you can't jump over them because they're too wide, they're constantly on platforms with pits so you got nowhere to move, and the orbs are spammed at such speed that the dash cooldown takes too long to even get hits in? I tried parrying the orbs and even that does nothing since they push me back so far I'm accomplishing nothing whatsoever.

Gotta be missing something because jfc what the hell. At this point I just came to the conclusion to take a hit and run past them.

You are right. I also struggled with those. Usually i used magic to get rid of them quick.

The candelabra guys from the first game, they are the worst. Huge hit box, tons of knockback, and of course their recovery time is the same as your get-up animation so they can just jack you into a corner and touch-damage stunlock you. Same with the charging bell guys from the first game, honestly any enemy that aggressively bodies you into a corner and stunlocks you is awful but that's more the fault of really bad game design. I'm serious, the lack of any kind of invincibility period after taking damage is really souring this game (among other very lackluster aspects).

All the ankle level ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Also the censer swinging ♥♥♥♥♥

I never really had a problme with the bell guys. They are pretty slow. But yea. One mistake and its over, when they corner you.

Yeah, I knew. When they show up I try to hit them first with a charged veredicto, sometimes it oneshots them, but if they activate, I switch to centella and parry them. One is enough. I actually don't hate them, there should be other "hard counter" enemies imo.

Agreed on most of these. I'll give some tips.

Chandelier dudes: They suck but if you don't engage with their parry games they melt to 1-2 shots of Bleeding Miracle (blood boomerang), making them trivial.

Bishops: They're probably the toughest trash mob. I use the big sword and parry. If you're in trouble, move vertically to dodge them and get away.

Coffins getting knocked back sucks idd.

Fire spitters are idd boring as sheet.
--------------------------------------------------

My picks:

Low to the ground leaping sheeters that need multiple hits to kill unless you use the censer. This includes the drowned ones and the flea types with the rapiers.

Splitting flying lanterns... just obnoxious.

Men/women on bed shooting stuff. Really hard to deal with without later upgrades and too tanky (without Bleeding Miracle spam).

Wax drops falling from the ceiling: For some reason you can't dodge through these... pretty annoying.

Bleeding Miracle can melt them pretty fast.

It's possible to dodge to their other side but the spacing is pretty strict.

Once you get more mobility it becomes a lot easier.

Challenge room with the swordman who fires 4 red homing orbs at you. That was the difficulty spike that made me quit the game and I'm not touching it again for some time. Enough hurt for today.
