My advice? Jumping constantly is the worst thing you can do in this fight, and keeping your distance from him is the best thing. Don't try to approach him, focus on avoiding damage, let him come to you, and attack him only once there's a chance. Use that one spell that creates a purple pillar of light around you, it deals high damage to him.
Yep. Jumping is a real bad idea. It got me hit so often. But its hard to get rid of this habbit. Usually its very helpful in those games :D
Of course, this is all assuming you aren't tricked out of your gourd with some of the end game Chants. While Lady of Thorns lets you tank hits, it's Memory to Your Eyes that steals the show here. As much as people complain about Eviterno, he's a lot less threatening when he doesn't even get to do anything all fight.
