And dash where? Ton of green crap on the floor and together load of spam in air. Only kinda safe part is that huge laser beam attack where of course i cant do any damage to him. ANd fact hes keep high in the air doesnt help me at all.
Huge difficulty in front of any other boss before.
At 15:10, here how you should to do it, use it like tutorial, I hope it helps!
Only interesting information from this is, they are obviously heavily overpowered when fully upgraded. Which cant be now.
Boss has 4 faces, you have to create a strat for each one. For your weapon, these strat would include basically when you can hit a boss and when it's dangerous. Wait first, react on boss actions. It's especially for old-man face. He has 2 attacks IIRC. If you see a fire sphere around a head - it's a face transition, and it about to explode with projectiles.
Blindfolded woman. If she's moving her head "up and down" she about to move like a fire pillar towards your character. If you see a glowing circle around her head - it's a healing state, that you have to interrupt. Put everything you have at this point, boss is vulnerable here.
Iron mask has a most difficult patterns. I would recommend putting only a single hits with mace, or maybe even run away and wait when it transforms into something else, if he's pushing you hard.
4 face will be seen at low boss hp, floor will be set on fire, so you wouldn't be able to heal yourself. There's no much to say, just finish him.
And year, bosses, and enemies in general, usually resist the damage type that they are using. I don't say that Hymn resist to fire, but he probably can. If you have the ability to change mace's damage source, do so. It may help.

They all very powerful when maxed out, tbh. I believe a mace a bad choice for that exact fight, that's why get in trouble with it. No worry, it's the best weapon for the next boss.
And normal blind fight would be +/- the same as maxed out, but longer, It's a main distinction. In tutorial, I meant a movement set, not a weapon usage.
As advice, if you didn't notice, the nun face heals herself (when she doesn't do the fire pilar). So you need to hit her before she charges it up completely. She heals a lot if you mistake it for an attack and let her do it multiple times. I remember first time defeating this boss (I finished with 0 flasks and 1 hp) with Veredicto just by swinging the thing around and healing all the damage.
For damage output, I used jump+aerial attack+R1 to stay in the air while doing multiple attacks. After this you can make another jump and hit again.
As for charms, you can find the +3 fire def one before this battle as far as I remember.
Anyway i found my own and easy solution. All basic attacks Simple swing fire swing, air swinging using of mace are basicaly useless here cause boss has lots of health and these attacks even with all upgrades and cooperating statues are too weak which gives the boss a lot of time for many bullet hell atacks.
BUT in the end I found him to be supersensitive to Azure Typhoon attack, especialy if combined with fire mode. So I spam this all the time, used just one flask and he died suddenly.
Spam beats the spam!
Once Phase 2 kicks in, blood pact, and just spam hits like crazy. This should do hign enough dmg for you to jump the entire phase. Drop a flask quickly before phase 3 sets floor on fire and hit them silly as you can or try pulling off a deblas, should be over quickly.
Highly recommend to have the Nacimiento and ecstatic novicefigurine combo for this, since every flask you use will briefly stop time and gives you a decent window for retaliation.
Good luck on Eviterno later on (gonna love that one)
But first I need just decypher third letter and few other items of unknown use from my inventory before final encounter.
Also yeah, Eviterno is a though one.
Ah, the cursed letter quest. Yeah, it might be a good idea to complete that before Eviterno. I won't spoil the fight, but if you are used to parry, your mindset will have to change a lot with this boss. It IS parryable, but you will barely have any breathing room and the hits are too strong therefore no parry/counter. Evasion will be preferable
