3 phase boss fight ?

If this game is considered hard enough to get mad at by average gamers I'm kinda sad for the gaming community.

If you're talking about the duo bossfight, they're well manageable with 3 flasks and no upgrades. I recommend bursting down the weaker one of the two and then just repeating phase 1 for the big dude.

I killed them but I think it was a little overtuned for an early game boss. At this point I only have 3 flasks, no health or mana upgrades, no rosary bead upgrades.

The game is setting you on its play style, i.e., there's a pattern and you play around it, you cannot (often) cheese it with this or that weapon as per usual, no shortcuts, you wait for the window -> attack -> repeat. By the point you master the fight, you will probably do it with the three flasks intact.

Just neglect the cauliflowerbrains' generalizations around here and go back to the game!

You don't have to beat it first. You're setting your own difficulty just like what Dark Souls does. Personally, I thought the difficulty of the fight was really fun. Once you get to the third phase you realize the 1st and 2nd phase are a joke and by the 5th death (at least) you don't really get hit during the two starting phases.

It really isn't overtuned at all.

The game would have been much more enjoyable if there were more bosses as involved as the 3-phase duo fight or the guy before the last boss. This game's weakness is how easy it is to fart through most bosses in 1 or 2 tries.

True. It's genuinely too easy without self-imposed restrictions. I'm currently doing the entire game without health upgrades and it's not hard.

its definitely meant to be a skill check, i got beat up like 8 times by them before I started figuring it out, keep at it, you will get it. They are both pretty easy on their own so focus on saving all heals for phase 3

That boss was one of the best, it made me switch to Verdict to deal with flying one with fire and going back to SarCen lightning for the heavier one.
Most bosses would die so fast otherwise.

did it with two flasks and the verdicto very slightly upgraded, maybe try being a little better at games?
