Small white dog easter egg?

I'm not sure whether i imagined this or not.

At some point in the game i returned to the start, where the penitent one climbs out of his coffin held up by the guy with the threaded rope for a face. I was hunting for things i had missed and to use the new abilities on. Upon entering the room, beneath the coffin to the left beside all of the raised hands of the white people i swear i seen a small white dog appear and move a few frames before disappearing, i think it looked like the dog Snowy from Tin Tin. It happened so fast and was so quick to disappear that i never screenshotted it and now im not even convinced it happened.

On another play through of the game i returned to the start around 20 mins in and there was no appearance.

Has anyone else seen this?

Yeah it's an easter egg, pretty sure it's that dog from the first game if you played it.

There is a low-ish chance of it appearing. You have to exit the screen and come back a few times in order for it to appear. I don't think you can do anything with it though.
