Cloth of the old woman

Is anyone else having issues getting the old man to take the cloth? I already gave the woman the scroll but he won’t respond beyond two sentences.

I believe if the quest is well and truly broken you can check with the lost items vendor at the bottom of the map. If he's selling the usual reward (a Remembrance, IIRC) then the quest was bugged anyway.

once you give the scroll to the old woman you've already completed that quest.

Right, but what's the use of the cloth then?

it just picks what one dies.

The person who receives the item from the player dies. Don't worry though, you can buy the other person's rememberance from the merchant behind the grates.

Basically you can pick whose sculpture you want earlier. Achievement connected to this is done in your inventory and can't be failed or missed.

Thank you all for breaking that down. I think it would have been less confusing had it stopped the second animation from showing.
