Bugged secret wall in Mother of mothers?

Im in the location shown in the screenshots and my "Chisel engraved wounds" is ringing like crazy, but I cant seem to break neither the wall nor the broken golden bell(?) background object.
When looking for guides online I found a screenshot that confirms there should be a room there.
So: am I doing something wrong or did something bug out on me?

it's part of a quest. Remember the wall for later.

This is not a bug. I was confused at first as well. This wall is part of a quest line. To see quest line try looking for the ominous envelope :)

The "secret wall here" chime from the prayer bead going off is the biggest "problem" I think
