But I do agree that NG+ should be a thing.
After having had such a cool NG+ feature in the first game, I am baffled that this one just has nothing in that regard.
However, more Blasphemous is always good so yeah, NG+ would be great. I also loved the various penance modes encouraging different playstyles.
Quite sure devs have something in store, they really spoiled us with free DLC content in 1.
I wouldn't expect several big free updates with this one, but maybe some QoL features and nice to have things like NG+? Maybe also some additional content as paid DLC? I'd be willing to pay for some extensions with new areas, bosses, etc. further down the road. Would probably be easier to deliver and integrate than already starting work on some new game altogether.
Although maybe avoid the Miriam challenge rooms unless you want to throw your computer across the room.
If they remain true to the original you can also expect these updates for free. *fingers crossed*
Hm, i started with the sword and dagger and yes, admittedly once i got my arsenal complete the bosses started to feel considerably easier.
