The rest you need to confess
I never used them the entire game, but if you're looking for full recovery w/o having to confess as frequently you might experiment and see what happens if you're in an area where you're dying often.
There is a bug where you will get 0% of your guilt fragment back in some places. Unfortunately as of now you have to tithe to get your fragments back.
Really don't know why they thought this'd be a good idea
Recovering your guilt fragment doesn’t fully remove guilt (you gain 20% guilt on death, you recover 18% when picking up the fragment). Eventually it is going to force you to go to the confessor to pay him to remove your guilt assuming you want your fervor bar back.
I don’t know how the items that affect guilt (rosary beads and a figure apparently?) play into it however since I haven’t died enough to get them.
We know that, we are saying when we collect our guilt shards, there are times were you get NOTHING back, when you're supposed to get 18% back.
