Veredicto (mace) = Can ring bells that send out a shockwave that create watery steps and dissolve green/angel-looking barriers
Sarmiento & Centella (daggers) = Hitting the silver mirrors allows you to teleport
Ruego Al Alba (sword) = Destroys brown-looking tree barriers. However, you must be at a high elevation to trigger the effect. You'll know you're successful because the screen will slightly darken and red energy waves will come out when you land
Yellow floating sparkles = Your final mobility upgrade you won't receive until an end game area
Vertical blue chains = Requires air dash that you can get around mid-late game
I'd suggest you pick an icon for each type of barrier you run into so you can mark it on your map. You'll eventually gain an ability that allows you to fast travel between save points. That requires finding 5-6 of the lost Cobijadas and paying $6,000. The NPC you need is located above the pit to Profundo Lamento on the right-hand side.
