Grind Fest Mitigation

Hey does anyone else feel like this game is turning into to much of a grind fest to level up cars. Any suggestions to help level up a car faster, legit getting bored with the game? Don't think it should take a crazy long time to unlock all the cosmetics especially when they don't really have much more to offer. I really just want to customize the car.

I want to unlock the front half of the Nouzen (AE86) for the headlights but that doesn't unlock til level 92 or something. Been grinding a level or two a day and it's been around 8 hours so far and i'm only around level 34 on the car.

It takes around 15 hours (making only gold metals) to unlock the nouzen. I suggest to grind cars in Okawa cause that track is very fast and short and you will take full exp without the "track not fully developed" penalty. If you just chill 1 h per day, with some music and without pushing to much, gold medal is easy to do. And if you learn the track while grinding, you should be able to easily do also the platinum medal.

At the moment I still haven't been able to reach Gold in Okawa (I'm like half a second off so after a few more runs I think I can get it) but I did see that even Silver is close to 2900 EXP per run. I can consistently hit Gold in Enna Skyline but even Gold only nets around 1800 EXP. Am currently level 42 on the Nouzen with around 10.5 hours of playing (albeit with other cars played as well) so I'll probably just keep running Okawa til I git gud at it.

I felt that way when I first realized how high the levels are for parts. But then I just realized all there is to do in the game is laps, trying your best to shave off parts of seconds. I was importing the feeling of grinding from other games and my internal drive to "unlock", but then I realized it was really just me and the road. Then the cosmetic unlocks feel like a nice bonus for what I was really trying to do - chasing seemingly impossible lap times.

I personally don't mind it. It's all just cosmetic so i think it's not unfair. Progression keeps you racing and work towards stuff. It would be nicer if there were more tracks and such to grind on.

They recently updated Enna Skyline to give full exp now so now it's not as bad; when I first started playing I didn't know it gave reduced exp and was wondering why my growth was so bad even with consistent Gold runs. Now Gold I think gives close to 3k exp per run.
