Has anyone kept track of how long it takes a spirit to appear?
Hi, new player that really should've gotten this the moment I first heard of it; sorry if there was already a discussion about this, I tried searching and couldn't find it.

I've noticed that for each higher level new spirit, the time it takes to lure them out gets longer. I'm a bit surprised that in the middle of the list, it feels like a half hour is necessary. I think it was either Moonpaw or Trashnuki that I started luring at 1:10 and didn't get the unlock until 1:34. When I peak at guides (because there was one hint that I couldn't understand how to make work), there's only activity, lightning, and sounds - but no estimation on wait time. Not that I'm impatient, it just feels like an important thing to note down, especially with a game that helps you schedule your time and tasks. I'd like to be aware ahead of time if I have to do a specific set of sound + lightning for X amount of time, or ensure the game is open for X amount of time, in case I need to set aside a period for that unlock or push it back until I can properly do it. It'd suck if I put a half hour of luring, didn't have it show up, and then had to close the game before it was finished.

As a slightly related question, since the under level 10 spirits have already started to brush against a half hour, does that mean I should expect an hour and over for future spirits to unlock? If so, then I'd definitely like to know so I could plan in advance.

Heya, they start at around 10 minutes, and I believe max out at 1 hour in the base game.
Even if you close the game while luring a Spirit, it will save your progress, so when you come back the counter is not reset.
So no need to worry about setting aside a longer playtime.

This is good to know! Out of curiosity, does this also apply if you do other activities that interrupt the luring? e.g. if your avatar needs to be reading and you have them play games for a bit.

60 mins cumulative, it doesn't have to be in one session.
