Demo
When a demo will be launched? Devs are missing out an opportunity to grow sales as many people play demos before buying and it saves the refund risk. My Time At Portia is a good example of forever free demo that gets you hooked for upselling

There was a demo before the release, I'd think a demo of this sort of app would negate the point of buying it if you prefer the productivity aspect, unless the demo had a hard time limit. Steam's refund window of 2 hours is pretty generous for an app like this, imo, and will be enough time for you to explore all the tools and collect a spirit or two.

I always ask for a Demo if there's a game that interests me and it doesn't offer one (usually if they had one, its one they have before a game release then it gets pulled from Steam or its from a "Fest" event etc)

But for this game, since it's more of a helpful tool than a game you are actually "playing" (fighting, killing etc) I think most people should be able to run it decently.

"MINIMUM:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10/11
Processor: Intel Core i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 960 / Radeon HD7870
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 10 GB available space"

As long as you have the minimum or are close to it, you should be fine. You can also look at your catalog to see the system requirements for the games you have played that are in your library.

See if they come close or pass the system requirements for this game/app. As long as the specs a game requires isn't totally high/crazy (like Unreal Engine 5 games) I think you/many others should be fine running this.

Can also wait for a deep sale and pick it up.

Edit: I came across this in their recent update thread

"Our minimum requirements for Mac devices are quite high as this game is built using the latest version of Unreal Engine 5"

Which is just crazy to me lol. Why? because I can't really run UE5 games decently or at all and yet, this one is an UE5 game too? It runs perfectly fine for me.

But like I said, since it isn't an actual gaming game (kicking butt, running around etc) I guess it isn't as demanding as, lets say Silent Hill 2 Remake, Hellblade 2 etc
