Does anyone else think a bathroom would be fun?

I think it'd be fun. There's ways you can decorate the bathroom to be cute. Could have things like a toothbrush holder and/or soap bottles for the sink, choosing from different towels to hang on a rack, bathmats... Lots of decoration options that are completely unique to a bathroom setting.

Activities could include stuff like brushing your teeth, wiping down the area, and maybe even showering (hide the avatar behind a shower curtain while the spirit hangs out in front of the tub and looks cute).

I did mention "Bathroom" elsewhere lol but wasn't sure if they would do it or not.

I mean, you can have it for a morning routine. Like you mentioned, brushing your teeth, showering etc.

Can even have the avatar in a bubble bath so their bodies are under the bubbles but their heads are there for you to see (better than not seeing your avatar at all) lots of bathroom type of Spirits they can make.

A bubble type one, towel, cleaning product and whatnot. I was also thinking that the bathroom could have a washer/dryer if people wanted to clean/wash their clothes as an activity.

They could give the avatar a cute/cool cleaning type outfit (gloves for cleaning, and items like a toilet brush, sponges etc) I think it would be lots of fun, especially with the activities they could add :)

On that note, it could introduce additional sound effects for the sounds of a washing machine, can be rather comforting to hear when its only moving slowly.

yo i know it feels so weird to say but yes! I would love an update sometime down the line with the following activities:

- Brushing/flossing/mouthwash
- Face-washing routine
- Hair-brushing/hair-care
- And this one feels weird to ask for but either a bath or shower, behind a curtain obviously and obscured by water or bubbles.

It's not very "lo-fi girl" though I've totally seen bubble-bath, hot-tub and onsen-themed lofi idle animation videos! fingers crossed that maybe things move in that direction in the next year or two if enough folks are interested <33

I have to say a bathroom wasn't on our radar at all, but since the Kitchen update we've seen it come up a lot 😅. It's not currently in our plans, but feel free to share ideas here! We're always listening.

Yes, I would love that. I think just a bathroom sink and mirror would be fine, maybe a covered shower with implied activity like running water.

I don't mind if the game moves to less lo-fi, like Spirit City household sounds, or biaural beats, or life activities.

Would very much life a bathroom/jacuzzi/sauna kind of thing going on. Mood candle lighting + soft running water = bliss IMO.

Although the more I think about how this idea would look ingame, the more I'm starting to see issues from a gamedev perspective like, where is the bathroom going to be placed? What other activities the player avatar can do in a bathroom besides cleaning/grooming oneself and resting/napping/sleeping? How is the "nudity" of the avatar going to be addressed?

Well, despite my concerns, if there comes the day where bathroom content is added, I would gladly eat it up.

Strategically placed bubbles or steam clouding glassy surfaces as well as items like curtains, room dividers, bathrobes, towels, shower caps placed to obscure views.

Edit: Spirits in tiny little shower caps floating around in big soap bubbles or floating around a bubble bath on a rubber duck!

I would agree in terms of a bath activity, the avatar being in a tub with their body hidden underneath bubbles is smart. Also let the spirits get involved and have fun bathtime too! How cute would that be?
