About this game
Hello all,

I really need help on what this game is about. So based on the reviews, it seems like it legit helps people study in real life? But sometimes people troll in the reviews and what they meant was their game character is doing well.

So could someone clear the air about this game, what is it about, why do you play it, does it really help you in real life, etc? Give me the full rundown. It's overwhelmingly positive for a reason.

It is not a game per se. It is like a fancy timer with background noises, lofi music, etc.. Your ingame character does activities for a longer time with certain background noises and you find creatures like this that can be used as a companion. But it is more or less a fancy timer. You set your timer and a task list, do tasks in real life with the music of this game in the background additionally to sounds and stuff. It is fun to relax to and focus because of the available noises and sounds. Plus it helps you stay focused.

Here's a recent thread that may also help: If people can't "focus" how does this game help?
This game is not exactly a game, it's a productivity application! There are useful tools you can use while you do your work/study, like timers, stoppers, to do lists, weekly habits chart, etc. Not only that, there are lots of sound effects and music to choose and relax to. There is also a built-in web music browser (YouTube) if there are specific videos/audio you enjoy!

You can create and customize your own character as well as the room to fit your vibe or aesthetic. There are a lot of different accessories and clothing you can choose. You can also change the lighting, the background in the window, the textures and colours of the floor, walls/wallpaper, ceiling and furniture. You can even add different kinds of decoration/items on the tables/shelves!

Your character can do many different activities in different parts of the room, such as; reading, gaming, typing, drawing, browsing the internet, knitting, writing, meditating, cleaning, etc. In the kitchen DLC, it unlocks even more activities you can do (as well as the kitchen lol) and a few new spirits. :CatYellowDuck:

Speaking of spirits, they are cute creatures you can collect. You can unlock different skins with clues they give you as you study! They just act as companions/pets, and they pretty much just chill with you no matter what activity you do in game. There are also DLCS with additional skins for the spirits if you want them and to support the devs :)

I hope that this helps! :Dustbunny::needy_heart:
It's satisfying to click the check mark on my to-do list, which motivates me to get things done. Also, I love customization in games, so this tool is a dream come true lol. The audios and playlists are very relaxing(though we do need more playlists) and the spirits are just cute study buddies! I would suggest getting this if you like the idea of having a custom background and a little study buddy while you get things done. :GoopiiGreen:
It's really helpful for neurodivergent people whose brains don't give adequate dopamine for boring tasks. It just helps turn it into a game by giving XP rewards and adding the creature collection and home decoration aspect to it. Throw in relaxing music and pleasing visuals to create a good environment for productivity. I'm also really liking the habit list for tracking my engagement in healthy habits that i'm trying to build. Theres also an integrated journal for if you're trying to mentally unpack at the end of a day, which can help with sleep, which can further help with productivity.
