Game failing to close?
Love this - but a couple of bugs in the full version that I did not encounter in the demo:

Every time I try to exit this game Steam says it is still running. Hitting 'Stop' does not close the game either. I have to exit and restart Steam to properly leave the game.

I'm also finding that when I change the video settings to 'full screen' the game never remembers this setting and I have to change it again for each new session.

I'd also like to know how you exit the game. Couldn't find a designated button.

Upper right corner. Press on the X to close.

Just to clarify - I know how to exit the game, it is just failing to shut down.

Same. I played it yesterday, and closed it when I went to bed. just got home from work and noticed it logged me at 23 hours play time and it said it was running. I checked all available processes and none matched up with the game its self. not gonna lie, I love it dont get me wrong. Super chill vibes and it even got me writing again for a few hours with the journal. But with it not closing properly and not showing up in any running processes, it gives me hella virus/malware vibes and im hesitant to start it up again.

Heya! We're investigating this issue. We haven't had it on our end, but a few users are reporting it. So it's a bit tricky to repro.

I can promise you the game isn't malware or a virus, if you take my word for it 😅. We're a team of 3, with only one programmer, so some things may have gotten past us.
We can only ask for you understanding and patience, and we're doing our best to tackle these issues!

Why is your computer 24/7 is the first question.
But to answer your question, its probably not malware. I've had that happen with other games, recently rainbow six seige. Its probably something on Steams end, as the game process is not running, but Steam still think that it is.

I am experiencing this issue as well. After exiting the game, it is still running somehow according to Steam. I checked the task manager and could not find the process to kill it.
Normally Steam will only allow one game to be running at one time, but starting a different game did not seem to stop this game.
