Can't resize windowed game
It's as the title suggests. When I'm running the game in Windowed, the window is locked to 1080 pixels in height. I am able to resize the width of the window to any size, but not the height.

Here's the crux: It will resize to a smaller window if you use the drop down to choose to run the game at 720p, but if you choose a larger resolution like 4k the width of the window will be 3840 pixels, but the height will stay at 1080.

Any idea what may be causing this?

Hello, sorry you're experiencing this. This is the first time I hear about the window height not being able to go past 1080 pixels high. If you haven't already, I would try resetting the computer.

I'm thinking it might be a monitor settings issue? What's your monitor resolution, ratio, and scaling?

On my side I can double click the black bar in-game to maximize the game window to take the full screen, and I can also drag the game window from a corner to resize both width and height at the same time. This does not work for you?

Let us know. Cheers

I've verified the game files, and restarted my computer neither has resolved the issue unfortunately. To be clear, I used to be able to freely resize the game like you when in windowed mode. It stopped working earlier today.

I also think it is likely a monitor settings or scaling issue, because I found an odd workaround when I was gather more information for you (I'll get to that in a sec lol).

My monitor settings are as follows: I'm running at 3840x2160 in standard dynamic range (SDR), scale at 200% (but windows 11 recommends 1080p because my monitor is REALLY old lol. So old, in fact, it maxes out at 60Hz but can run 4k fine. My GPU is a RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16GB.

As for the odd workaround: While getting this information from System>Display in the Windows 11 settings app, I randomly found that if I changed the display resolution to 1080p and then back to 4k (3840x2160) while the game is running I can once again freely change the game window to whatever size I want by dragging from a corner like you mentioned.

But if I close the game and then relaunch it I can't change the game window height beyond 1080 pixels again, I can freely change the game window width like before (an aside, running the game at 3840x1080 is kinda amusing). When dragging by the game corner it's like it's hitting a wall when trying to drag beyond 1080 pixels, but I can freely resize by dragging below that height and at any width.

I have no idea what is causing this, or what I did to make this issue happen haha. Though it's a bit comforting to know even if we can't resolve it there is a workaround.

Thank you for the odd magical workaround and it resolved my issue too. Developer have to do something on the next patch as its clearly a bug
