Integration of Spotify and Personal PC Playlists?
I like Lofi music and this background idea is nice. I already saw someone asking for this to be as a Background for the Desktop and i really like that idea too! But more importantly, will there be a way to integrate other music services and a private playlist directly from a PC Audio player?

As a small team it's a big undertaking. For the moment we don't see Spotify available at launch. But if things go well with the release, we won't say it's impossible in the future!
We really appreciate all the support and enthusiasm people have been showing us!

Heya! Thank you 🥰
In the demo you can try out the web music player feature, where you can play music from youtube in game.
Otherwise, at the moment there are no plans for Spotify or other services/ a pc audio player.
But we're always considering what's possible!

Heey :)
I think as well that it would be amazing if you could integrate Spotify. Its quite annoying to get ads on youtube while you´re studying...

Hello, I'm also interested in the Spotify Integration. Youtube is great, and some have subscriptions and won't have adds, but most people use Youtube for watching the MVs of fav singers/bands or other funny videos. For music and playlist Spotify is a better choice in general since it's just music. I know I do it like that. Most of my curated music playlists are on Spotify including some Lofi playlists, I really hope it can be integrated. Thank you for the hard work and I can't wait for the full version :D

Would it not be possible to just simply have the "Web Music Player" function have access to Spotify Web as well? That way users with Spotify can still login to their accounts and use their music players. Being able to use something other than Youtube if we want custom music is definitely a gamechanger personally.

Hello! Yeah, we tried, we understand it would be a game changer for many. The thing is there are technical limitations from the integrated browser in the .exe applications. Even Youtube as it stands cannot play live videos, and so we're running into the same issue for streaming music on Spotify. It's not that we're limiting access to Spotify, it's just not working.

With our small team it's a real challenge to spend the time required and get this to work. If we can get it to work in the future that would be awesome, for now though, we need to consider Spotify out of the picture.

With close to 100 lo-fi music tracks from Homework Radio in-game + Youtube, we think it will satisfy most people :)

Are you all thinking of allowing us to use music from our own pc? I have lots of mp3's that I love to play in this maybe allow us to create a playlist to use in the program. The music already in is amazing but sometimes when working I like to change it up and though I could use youtube it's not something I really want to have to turn too mainly if the music is already on my pc.
