In the demo you can try out the web music player feature, where you can play music from youtube in game.
Otherwise, at the moment there are no plans for Spotify or other services/ a pc audio player.
But we're always considering what's possible!
I think as well that it would be amazing if you could integrate Spotify. Its quite annoying to get ads on youtube while you´re studying...
As a small team it's a big undertaking. For the moment we don't see Spotify available at launch. But if things go well with the release, we won't say it's impossible in the future!
We really appreciate all the support and enthusiasm people have been showing us!
Hello! Yeah, we tried, we understand it would be a game changer for many. The thing is there are technical limitations from the integrated browser in the .exe applications. Even Youtube as it stands cannot play live videos, and so we're running into the same issue for streaming music on Spotify. It's not that we're limiting access to Spotify, it's just not working.
With our small team it's a real challenge to spend the time required and get this to work. If we can get it to work in the future that would be awesome, for now though, we need to consider Spotify out of the picture.
With close to 100 lo-fi music tracks from Homework Radio in-game + Youtube, we think it will satisfy most people :)
